Overview

Ballantyne is an eight-storey, 110-unit luxury rental apartment building located near Main Street in Greystone Village, Ottawa. Regional Group entrusted Factual with creating a complete brand vision for this new rental property, covering everything from interior signage to floor plan design and more.

For the logo mark, our goal was to craft an abstract design that embodies both elegance and structure. We centred the design around the letter 'B' to highlight the Ballantyne name, using it as the focal point while integrating complementary concepts around it.

To introduce a touch of nature into the design, we incorporated an earth tone, contrasted with a deep near-black to maintain the brand's sense of sophistication.

Tasked with marketing two neighbouring rental properties, the Factual team crafted distinct identities to engage separate target audiences. The Ballantyne brand, with its sleek and elegant design, resonated strongly with the 55+ demographic. This identity played a key role in the success of the project.

With each real estate project there are a multitude of assets to design. From the presentation centre design to kit folders, every element and brand touch point was covered.

We were honoured to work Regional Group on another rental property, this time aiming at the higher end, luxury market. Although the tenant demographic changed from the initial concept, the logo mark and brand was flexible enough to appeal to a wide group, and has continued to attract new tenants every year.
