Choices

Getting to be creative for a living is a privilege. It’s quite easy to lose sight of that, especially 20 years into your career.

And now, in the constant push and pull of the current AI conversation, it can sometimes feel like that opportunity is being questioned.

For me, creativity is all about the freedom to make choices. And if we’re not the ones making the choices (in our work, our thinking, or our tools), we risk giving that creativity away.

So let’s not lose sight of the privilege of getting to do this work, and the responsibility that comes with it.

As the year draws to a close, I want to send out a heartfelt thank you to those who enable this dream to continue to be a reality. Family, colleagues, clients and partners… thank you. Let’s keep creating together, and making choices. See you next year.
